BREED DESCRIPTION
There are two varieties of the Bull Terrier breed, the white and the coloured. The breed dates back to about 1835. It
is believed that the breed was established by mating a Bulldog with an English Terrier. A few years later, to gain
size, the dog was crossed with the Spanish Pointer.
The Bull Terrier is playful, fun-loving, sensitive and
affectionate dogs who make great pets and companions, despite their tough appearance.
The Bull Terrier loves
games with a ball and likes to stay active with many other activities.
They are the happiest around the people
they love and are miserable if they are kept away from human companionship.
The coat is short and glossy and
requires very little grooming.
