The Flat Coated Retriever is an affectionate friend. A good-natured and optimistic canine, he`s inclined to be friendly to all he meets. He is sensible and intelligent; he also sports a good-humoured outlook on life.
The Flat Coated Retriever is a determined and resourceful retriever. Bright and active, he adapts well to city or country living provided he gets lots of outdoor exercise.
Breed Standards
Size: The preferred height is 22-24.5 in, 56-62 cm. The weight should be 60-70 lb. Coat: The ideal coat is straight and flat lying. It should be of moderate length, dense, glossy and full. Grooming: The occasional bath and frequent brushing keep the coat in good condition. |
